Filippo Magli grabs fifth place in final stage, while Manuele Tarozzi secures third overall at the Tour of Qinghai Lake.
The Tour of Qinghai Lake concluded with Empoli native Filippo Magli’s fifth place in the final sprint. The trip brought the team 1 victory, 3 podiums, and 7 top 10 finishes.
The surprise of this Tour of Qinghai Lake was undoubtedly Faenza’s Manuele Tarozzi, who, in addition to winning the stage in the third fraction, conquered the third step of the podium in the overall classification, the only Italian in the top 10.
The whole team played a leading role: from Zanoncello, who obtained two podiums, to Lucca and finally to Magli, who finished today’s race in fifth place.
