Manuele Tarozzi close to victory in the third stage of the Tour of Istanbul.
One hundred meters separated Tarozzi from victory in the third stage of the Tour of Istanbul. Already part of the breakaway group, Tarozzi gained a significant lead by launching a solo attack 45 km from the finish. His attempt came incredibly close to succeeding, but was neutralized by the peloton, led by Total Energies and Lotto Dstny. The group caught up with the rider from Faenza in the final meters; despite this, Tarozzi still managed to secure tenth place.
