VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: TOUR OF ISTANBUL. FOURTH PLACE FOR DAVIDE GABBURO.
The Italian rider from VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè takes fourth place in the second stage.
In the second stage of the Tour of Istanbul, with the start and finish in Şile, Davide Gabburo secured fourth place at the end of a hard-fought race, especially in the final kilometers. After the breakaway riders of the day were caught and the final climbs tackled, only twenty riders remained in contention for the stage victory. Among them were four athletes from VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè: Davide Gabburo, Luca Colnaghi, Luca Paletti, and Manuele Tarozzi.
With 15 km to go, a group of three riders attacked, gaining a decent gap. Gabburo pushed ahead of the chasing group, securing fourth place behind Burgaudeau, Romele, and Klaris.
Tomorrow’s stage will be short, 113 km, but marked by numerous ups and downs that could prove decisive for the general classification standings.
