VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: TOUR OF HAINAN. FIFTH PLACE FOR ENRICO ZANONCELLO IN THE OPENING STAGE.
Good start at the Tour of Hainan, fifth place for the rider from Verona in the short opening stage.
In the first stage of the Tour of Hainan, Enrico Zanoncello finishes in the Top 5 at the Qionghai finish line. The rider from Verona continues to accumulate placements and podiums, thanks also to the excellent work of his teammates in the final part of the race. At 20 km from the finish line, the breakaway duo was caught, with only a scant thirty-second lead remaining, which was completely neutralized by the 11 km mark. The sprinter from Parma, Mattia Pinazzi, finished in 11th place.
For the rider from Verona, this season includes 16 Top 10 finishes, 5 podiums, and one victory. Tomorrow, the sprinters will have another chance before the queen stage.
