VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè has chosen its six riders for the 2024 Tour of Austria, which kicks off tomorrow with the prologue time trial. The stage race runs from July 2nd to 7th and remains a UCI 2.1 category event, boasting a high-caliber startlist with both Professional and World Tour teams.
The team will be represented by: Giulio Pellizzari, the climber from Marche returning after a strong showing at the Tour of Slovenia where he secured third place overall and the young rider classification. Joining him is the fast wheelman Martin Marcellusi. They’ll be supported by Alex Tolio and the team’s experienced veteran Alessandro Tonelli. Rounding out the lineup are Federico Biagini from Reggio Emilia and the newly crowned Italian Gravel Champion, Samuele Zoccarato.
Sports directors Alessandro Donati and Roberto Reverberi will lead the team from the ammiraglia (team car).
