VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: TOUR ALSACE, LINE-UP.
Tomorrow is the first stage of the Tour Alsace, here are the 6 athletes selected for the French stage race.
The VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè team is ready for the last race of July, tomorrow the twentieth edition of the Tour Alsace will start, a category 2.2 race with 5 stages to be tackled, including a 4.3 km team time trial. The race features a mostly hilly route and the third stage will be decisive for the general classification, with the finish at La Planche des Belles Filles.
The VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè has selected the 6 riders who will take part in the race. Alessandro Pinarello from Conegliano, who was the best Italian rider in the previous edition of this race in sixth place, will be at the start. Some fast wheels have also been chosen for the flatter stages, such as Mattia Pinazzi from Parma.
Also returning from the races after a period of inactivity is Alessio Martinelli from Valtellina for the general classification ambitions. Also present is Federico Biagini from Reggio Emilia, the fresh winner of the second stage of the Giro della Valle d’Aosta. Riccardo Lucca and Alex Tolio complete the line-up. DS Alessandro Donati will lead the team from the team car.
