VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: THIRD PLACE FOR CONFORTI AT THE GIRO NEXT GEN.

Lorenzo Conforti claims podium finish in stage five, his second of this Giro Next Gen.

Conforti consistently in the hunt for victory. In the Bergamo-Cremona stage, the fifth act of the Giro Next Gen, the young rider born in 2004 conquered third place. In a chaotic finale, Conforti handled himself perfectly and with a comeback sprint he grabbed his second podium finish in the young riders’ Giro d’Italia.

His statements: “It was a fast stage with a chaotic finale, in the final 15 kilometers I jumped from one train to another to stay in front, I looked for the wheel of Raccagni who worked for Magnier and I did a comeback sprint. I’m happy with the Giro I’m doing, in the next few days I’ll make myself available to my teammates and try to finish strong in the last stage.
