In the second stage of the Tour de Langkawi, from Arau to Butterworth, covering 154.5 km, the race was once again decided by a group sprint, where the athlete from Parma, Mattia Pinazzi, secured sixth place. Thanks to the placements achieved in the first two stages, VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè is leading the team classification.
Noteworthy in the final stretch was the serious crash involving Lorenzo Conforti. The athlete from Monsummano Terme will assess his physical condition up until the last moment to determine if he can start tomorrow’s third stage, considered the queen stage, with the spectacular finish at Cameron Highlands.
