VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: PELLIZZARI AND ROJAS WILL COMPETE IN THE UNDER-23 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN ZURICH.
There will be two athletes from the team participating in the Under23 World Championships in Zurich. Amadori has chosen Pellizzari for the road race, which will take place on September 27th, while Rojas will wear the jersey of the Chilean national team.
The World Championships in Zurich are fast approaching, and young talents launched by VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè will be competing. The coach of the Under-23 national team, Marino Amadori, has selected Giulio Pellizzari, a climber from Camerino born in 2003 and a standout at the Giro d’Italia, who will take part in the road race on September 27. Alongside him, Vicente Rojas, a Chilean born in 2002, in his first season as a pro, will wear the Chilean national team jersey.
Pellizzari’s statement: “At the U23 World Championships in Zurich, I’ll be aiming for a big result, even though the competition will be extremely tough. It’s always an honor and a great emotion to wear the national team jersey. The course is challenging and suits my strengths, so I’ll prepare thoroughly for this event.”
Vicente Rojas added: “I’m happy to participate in my last World Championship in the Under-23 category. Even though the course doesn’t perfectly match my characteristics, I feel in great shape and I’m determined to achieve a good result. The recent races in Italy were essential for my preparation, helping me fine-tune every detail ahead of this important goal of the season.”
