VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: OFFICIAL LINE UP FOR THE GRAN PIEMONTE.
Seven athletes are selected for the final major event before the Lombardia. Fast riders like Zanoncello, Colnaghi, Fiorelli, and Magli are at the start.
The VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè has selected the 7 athletes who will participate in the last major event before the Lombardia. Tomorrow, on October 10th, the Gran Piemonte will take place, a 1.Pro category race organized by RCS. Last year, Marcellusi achieved seventh place, delivering a great performance. The course is essentially flat in the first part (over 100 km) and then becomes hilly, featuring various elevation challenges leading up to the final circuit.
The 7 selected athletes reflect the characteristics of the route, with fast wheels at the start featuring Enrico Zanoncello, who won a stage at the Giro d’Abruzzo this year. Following him are Filippo Magli, Luca Colnaghi, and Filippo Fiorelli. Rounding out the team are Luca Covili, Alessandro Pinarello, 7th in the recent Coppa Bernocchi, and Alessio Martinelli. The athletes will be directed from the team car by DS Roberto Reverberi and Luca Amoriello.
The Gran Piemonte will be broadcast live on Eurosport 2 starting at 15:15 and on RaiSport starting at 14:15.
