VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: MATTEO SCALCO AND ALESSANDRO PINARELLO CALLED UP TO THE NATIONAL TEAM.
The two young talents from VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè will start in the Tour de l'Avenir with the Italian National Team.
Alessandro Pinarello and Matteo Scalco have received a call-up to the national team, summoned by coach Marino Amadori for the Tour de l’Avenir. The race consists of six road stages and a short time trial. This major event for the Under-23 category, one of the most important of the season, will be one day shorter than the 2023 edition, which was won by Mexican talent Isaac Del Toro, with Giulio Pellizzari finishing second.
This is an important stage for young riders looking to make a name for themselves. For Matteo Scalco, it will be his first participation, while Alessandro Pinarello will be competing for the second consecutive edition.
The Tour de l’Avenir can be watched live on Discovery+ starting from August 18.
