VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: GIRO NEXT GEN. NINTH PLACE FOR PINARELLO.
Three riders in the top twenty on stage six, the team is first in the team classification. Pinarello is ninth overall.
The rolling hills of Valpolicella have just decided the 6th stage of the Giro Next Gen, the 172-kilometer Borgo Virgilio – Fosse. Vicente Rojas showed his class, the Chilean rider was tenacious in getting into the day’s breakaway, which gained a maximum advantage of four minutes.
The race was decided on the final climb to Fosse. Three riders in the leading group, Alessandro Pinarello gets another Top10, just outside the top ten was the rider from Modena Luca Paletti, who finished 12th in order.
Vicente Rojas finished in order, after getting into today’s breakaway, he still managed to take a place in the top twenty, finishing 19th.
Tomorrow the seventh stage is scheduled, the 180 km Montegrotto Terme-Zocca, the penultimate stage of the Giro Next Gen.
