VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: GIRO DEL FRIULI. LINE-UP.
From September 4 to 7, the Giro del Friuli, one of the most prestigious Under-23 races in the world, will take place. Giulio Pellizzari will also be participating.
The VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè has selected 5 young riders to participate in the Giro del Friuli, from Wednesday, September 4 to Saturday, September 7. This important international cycling event will attract the best talents in world cycling from the Elite and Under-23 categories to Italy. The route is divided into four stages, which – as usual – will pass through various areas and provinces of the region, covering a total of 626 kilometers with a total elevation gain of 5,620 meters. The city of Gorizia will host the grand finale of the race this year.
Starting in this race is Giulio Pellizzari from the Marche region, a standout in both the Giro d’Italia and the Tour of Slovenia. Following him is Matteo Scalco from Vicenza, who, while wearing the Italian national jersey, secured 10th place in the general classification at the Tour de l’Avenir. Also participating is the fast-finishing rider Lorenzo Conforti from Tuscany, who is hunting for his first victory of the season. Vicente Rojas, who placed fourth in the Giro della Valle D’Aosta and achieved several other notable finishes, will also be on the starting line. Rounding out the team are Filippo Turconi from Varese and Luca Paletti.
