The Giro del Friuli concludes with Giulio Pellizzari’s second place, a key protagonist of the final stage. The athlete from the Marche region finished the race in 14th place within the breakaway group, securing the second step on the podium in the overall standings, behind Norwegian Nordhagen. The team takes home three podium finishes thanks to the young talent from Camerino, who was close to victory in the third and fourth stages.
These were his words: ‘We started with the intention of overturning the standings, but unfortunately, we didn’t succeed. I thank the team that worked so hard for me over these four days. This race was also useful to regain my form in view of the Memorial Pantani. I feel like I’ve made great progress and am constantly improving.
