VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: ANDREA MONTAGNER AND MATTIA STENICO COMPLETE THE RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGN.
Transfer campaign completed with two more young talents: a four-year contract for Montagner until 2028 and a three-year contract for Mattia Stenico until 2027.
The VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè has officially announced the addition of two more young riders to the team: Mattia Stenico, born in 2006, from Meano in Trentino, and Andrea Montagner. Among Stenico’s notable achievements are his victory at the Piccola Tre Varesine, a third place at the Piccolo Lombardia Juniores, and the Italian junior mountain biking championship. In his words: “I am happy to join the team. Next year, I expect to improve and achieve as many results as possible. In recent years, I’ve competed in mountain biking, with my main result being the Italian junior championship in the discipline and the European team relay championship. I’ve already met some of my teammates, and I look forward to getting to know the others better during upcoming training camps.” Andrea Montagner, on the other hand, has secured nine victories in the recent season, including two stages win at the LVM Saarland Trophy and the overall classification at the Giro della Valdera. Other notable wins include the Coppa Linari, Trofeo San Rocco, GP Sportivi di Badoere, and GP Maggio Fiaschettano. Montagner has signed a four-year contract until 2028. His words: “I am very happy to have made this choice, as I will be competing in an important calendar at this level. At the moment, I don’t know my future teammates or the staff very well yet, but I am sure it’s a great, close-knit group. As a junior, I won several races, two stages in the Junior Nations Cup, the Giro della Valdera, and other regional races. A race I’ve always dreamed of doing would certainly be Paris-Roubaix. But it’s too soon to talk about that; for now, I’m focusing on giving my full support to the team.” |
