HISTORY
SINCE 1982
The project was born in 2013 when two Italian companies, Bardiani Valvole and CSF Inox, decided to become title sponsors of the team led by Bruno and Roberto Reverberi, which has been active in the professional scene for more than 42 years. The two businesses, which together with MBS and OMAC make up CSF Inox Gorup, decide to join forces to develop a project that is unique in elite cycling for some stretches.
THE YOUTH PROJECT.
Underlying the choice is a clear idea with a strong identity: to invest in a team composed exclusively of Italian riders, capable of standing out as a breeding ground for Italian talent.
Since its creation, Bardiani-CSF has been the youngest professional team in the world, gaining year after year recognition and prestige from fans and insiders.
Thanks to their great achievements, both sporting and image-wise, Bardiani Valvole and CSF Inox have decided to extend their efforts through 2018 and sign an option through 2020.
In 2020 a new sponsor enters, it is Faizanè s.p.a.
In 2023, VF Group, becomes a title sponsor, bringing a major budget increase, with the goal of becoming a World Tour team.
THE YOUTH PROJECT CONTINUES
VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè’s youth project grows and strengthens in the 2024 season. Since 2013, the team has been at the forefront of the growth of young Italian athletes, espousing the green line philosophy. In 2022, the project will evolve with the goal of giving the right spaces and opportunities for growth to young people, making the team even more competitive, in the immediate and in perspective.
The new project will be key to continue being a hotbed of young Italian talent, in modern cycling, with a new Professional team concept.
22 ATHLETES, 8 UNDER23, TO GROW INTERNALLY THE TALENTS OF THE NEXT FUTURE.
Professional Category:
The team is confirmed for the 2022 season in the Professional category with a block of established riders, who will be joined by young athletes, professionals in their own right, but under the age of 22. The team will thus be larger and younger, in line with the green philosophy promoted since 2013.
Access to Under23 races:
New recruits due to their young age will also have the opportunity to participate in competitions with their age peers. However, Under23 athletes will be professional athletes integrated into the team in their own right, having the opportunity to compare and compete alongside their more experienced teammates.
