TRAINING CAMP IN TUSCANY AND STAGE FOR FOUR YOUNG RIDERS

Bardiani-CSF’s new season started at full speed and, in view of next races, team management scheduled a new training camp. From tomorrow, February 7, to Saturday, February 11, the whole roster of #GreenTeam – excluded Simon Sterbini, injured at Dubai Tour – will train in Tuscany led by coach Claudio Cucinotta and team director Stefano Zanatta. Included in the working schedule functional tests and time trial tests with MCipollini NKTT bikes. The team will be for the entire period at Hotel Borgo degli Olivi in Riotorto, Livorno.

The list includes the riders coming from GP Costa degli Etruschi – Stefano Pirazzi, Nicola Ruffoni, Luca Wackermann, Edoardo Zardini, Mirco Maestri and Lorenzo Rota – and the ones coming from Dubai Tour – Nicola Boem, Paolo Simion, Enrico Barbin, Simone Andreetta, Marco Maronese, Simone Velasco and Alessandro Tonelli. Together with them Niccolò Pacinotti, who recovered from the fever suffered during last days.

Giulio Ciccone and Vincenzo Albanese will join the camp with differentiated training program. Ciccone started training on bikes two weeks ago, after ablative operation occurred at the end of 2016; Albanese suffered an inflammation at right knee and needs to limit the efforts. Their seasonal debut is not scheduled yet, waiting for feedbacks and form improvement.

The #GreenTeam training camp will be also the chance for four Italian under 23 riders, since few years under examination by team management, to attend a formative and test stage together with the team – Daniel Savini (born in 1997) from team Maltinti; Lorenzo Fortunato (1996) from team Hopplà-Petroli Firenze; Umberto Orsini (1994) from team Colpack; Federico Burchio (1996) team Hopplà-Petroli Firenze.
