READY FOR THE RACE OF THE TWO SEAS
FIRST WORLD TOUR EVENT OF THE #GREENTEAM SEASON, FROM MARCH 13 TO 19
Bardiani-CSF returns on the prestigious stage of Tirreno-Adriatico. From Wednesday 13 to Tuesday 19 the #GreenTeam will attend the seven stages of the Race of the Two Seas, the first UCI World Tour event of the season.
Having become an essential step in the approach to the Classic season, Tirreno-Adriatico has reached a very high level of competition. For Bardiani-CSF is a great chance, certainly difficult but without doubt stimulating.
“It is the first comparison between the elite of world cycling, we can only be happy to be among the protagonists” explained team director Roberto Reverberi, technical guide together with Stefano Zanatta. “In the last few years we have seen the best riders of every specialty fighting every day. We are conscious that it is difficult for us to get involved, but we won’t be there with a minor role. Two years ago, Maestri was very close to winning the points jersey, rushing to attack and without fear: this must be our spirit “.
Bardiani-CSF will line-up a solid and well equipped team: Paolo Simion, Michael Bresciani and Marco Maronese will be the fast wheels; Enrico Barbin, Mirco Maestri, Alessandro Tonelli and Luca Wackermann the group of attackers.
“The most difficult challenges are always an opportunity to grow, improve and learn” added Zanatta. “For a young team as we are, it’s an important step. There is the opportunity to compete with a higher level and, in view of the upcoming events, refine the condition “.
