EASTER ON THE ROADS OF AMSTEL GOLD RACE

THE #GREENTEAM WILL BE PRESENT AT THE DEBUT OF THE ARDENNES CLASSICS WEEK

Bardiani-CSF will live its 2019 Easter “on the road”. On Sunday, April 21st, the #GreenTeam will be at the start of the prestigious Amstel Gold Race, the World Tour race that will open the Ardennes Classics week, which will continue with Fleche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

For the team will be the second classic of the season, after Milano-Sanremo. Following the strategy studied for the Classicissima, the target will be to search glory from afar, with a breakaway, putting the teams of the favorites to the rope and, why not, dreaming of a prestigious placement.

Despite its “young age” (first edition in 1966), Amstel Gold Race earned the title of classic for its hardness, beauty and unpredictability. With its 35 climbs, divided in three circuits, every year the race guarantees a great show.

The #GreenTeam will try to be among the most active protagonists with seven riders, starting from Vincenzo Albanese, the youngest and author of a gutsy ride in the breakaway in 2017, passing by Enrico Barbin, Mirco Maestri, debutant Alessandro Pessot, Lorenzo Rota, Paolo Simion and closing with Alessandro Tonelli. The team will be led by Stefano Zanatta and Roberto Reverberi.
