Marco Benfatto brings the first satisfaction of the season to the Bardiani CSF Faizanè team conquering the first podium of the season, in an attempt to finalize the excellent work done by his teammates. The arrival of the first stage had been conditioned by a group crash caused by a spectator, Marco Benfatto had been involved, without particular consequences but remaining cut off from the games. The second stage had a different story, with all the expected protagonists of the day competing on the final straight.
Good team work done by the whole team who in the final km brought Marco Benfatto on the wheels of the best and in a good position. The team sprinter is therefore able to find the right passage and reach the first podium of the new season for the team, pending the first seasonal success.

These are the words of Marco Benfatto: “Yesterday I fell and therefore I was unable to sprint, today my teammates helped me to stay out of the falls and I threw myself into the fray and collected a good third place that gives me above all confidence for the next sprints.
