ISTRIAN SPRING TROPHY: LAST RACE IN CROATIA, THEN ALL THE ACTIVITIES WILL BE SUSPENDED UNTIL 3RD OF APRIL.
The Istrian Spring Trophy will close the Croatian trip of the team, started one week ago with Umag Trophy and Porec Trophy, before the Italian government restrictions. At the end of this race all the Bardiani CSF Faizanè team will suspend any kind of race, training camp or activity until the 3rd of April.
From 12 to 15 of March the team will be at the start of the Istrian Spring Trophy, third and last race of the team in Croatia in this month. In respect of the new Italian Government rules the line-up will include only riders already in Croatia in order to avoid travels of Italian riders in this moment.
TEAM MANAGER DECLARATION.
Roberto Reverberi, team manager of Bardiani CSF Faizanè, wants to clarify the current situation:
“In this moment the respect of the health of our riders and staff and most of all of all the Italian community is much more important than sports. The riders competing for this race where already in Croatia before all the new Italian Government rules where official. All of them when entering in Croatia last week have made the medical visit, the same it is for all the other competitors. For this reason they will end their “trip” in Croatia with this last race, then when they will be back all the team will stop any kind of sports activity. No more races, no more travels, no more training camps, until the 3rd of April in respect to all the new Italian Government Regulations. Each rider of our team is a PRO and will be able to train by itself in order to be ready when everything will come back to usual life.”
THE LINE UP.
The last race of this month will see at his start 6 riders, with on the team car the Sports Director Alessandro Donati. Four stages, two of them more suitable to climbers and the last one perfect for the fast wheels, where a final sprint is expected.
