Double shot from Bardiani-CSF-Faizanè that sign two emerging talents of the Italian panorama, Filippo Zana and Davide Mazzucco. The riders will be officially professional riders from January after two years of experience with Sangemini-Trevigiani (2019) and Trevigiani-Phonix (2018).

“We are very happy to welcome Zana and Mazzucco” says team manager Roberto Reverberi. “Their engagement was a goal we had since few time. We followed their growth and, this year, the exploit. They are two real talents and, although they still have ample room for growth, they have a solid experience behind. We want them to grow without haste and pressure, giving the opportunity to consolidate themselves through a targeted calendar.”

Zana a Mazzucco, who were born in 1999, have shown flashes of talent since their transition in U23 category in 2018 and this year they have gained the spotlight with a series of bold results.

The star of Zana started to shine in 2017 with the seventh place in the World Championship in Bergen. In the current season he won the GP of Capodarco, while in the list of prestigious placements stand out the bronze medals at Italian championship, at Coppa della Pace and GP of Poggiana, the second place at Giro del Medio Brenta, the tenth place in the final classification of the Giro d’Italia U23 and the seventh in stage six (Aprica-Aprica).

Like his teammate, Mazzucco also began to catch the eye in 2017 with the eighth place in Paris-Roubaix Junior and the third place in Giro della Lunigiana. In the current season he reached the peak in June when he won the third stage of  Giro d’Italia U23 on the white roads (Sesto Fiorentino-Gaiole in Chianti) wearing also the pink jersey. He then won the GP of Poggiana, as well as taking the fifth place in Italian championship and the third place in Giro del Medio Brenta.
