THE #GREENTEAM FOR TROFEO LAIGUEGLIA

Following Italian debut at GP Costa degli Etruschi, Bardiani-CSF will attend on Sunday, February 12, the 54th edition of Trofeo Laigueglia. Riders will cover 192 km route, with start and finish in Ligurian seaside resort, included five KoM.

Line up – Team director Roberto Reverberi will lead eight riders squad with Simone Andreetta, Enrico Barbin, Nicola Boem, Lorenzo Rota, Alessandro Tonelli, Simone Velasco, Luca Wackermann and Edoardo Zardini.

Quote – “During the first races of the season we had the confirmation the team can be competitive, even if we did not achieve impressive results” said Reverberi. “We’ll face Trofeo Laigueglia after four days training camp in Tuscany and positive feedbacks. We’ll aim for a bold performance as team and, during the race, we’ll choose the best option to play in the finale”.

Facts – The #GreenTeam got close to win Trofeo Laigueglia last year with Colbrelli, who placed second behind Fedi. Other bold result in 2014, always with Colbrelli, who placed 4th.
Average age of the squad is 24 years old – Velasco the youngest (21) and Boem the oldest (21).
All the riders present in Laigueglia did their debut in 2017. Bardiani-CSF raced for 12 days since the beginning of the season, taking one podium (Ruffoni at Vuelta San Juan) and three top ten results.
