GIRO DELL’APPENNINO LAUNCHES THE SPRINT TO THE CORSA ROSA
TOMORROW THE 80TH EDITION OF THE ITALIAN RACE, FROM NOVI LIGURE TO GENOVA
Bardiani-CSF is about to face the last challenge before the long sprint that will take it to the Giro d’Italia. Tomorrow, April the 28th, the #GreenTeam will race on the roads of Giro dell’Appennino, 80th edition and dedicated to the victims of the Ponte Morandi in Genova.
199 the kilometers of the race, in a continuous up and down, with five climbs, including the Passo della Bocchetta, that will make the challenge hard and engaging.
In 2018 Bardiani-CSF were on the top step of the podium thanks to the success of Ciccone. In 2019 the task to shine is in charge to a team coming from the efforts of Tour of the Alps and, last Sunday, of Amstel Gold Race.
The seven riders line-up includes five riders coming from Trentino: Giovanni Carboni, best #GreenTeam rider at Tour of the Alps, Manuel Senni, Luca Covili, Umberto Orsini and Francesco Romano. Together with them Enrico Barbin and Lorenzo Rota. DS Roberto Reverberi will lead the team.
