GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: SECOND STAGE OF ALSACE TOUR, 4TH PLACE FOR LORENZO CONFORTI.
Notable achievement for Lorenzo Conforti, who came close to reaching the podium.
In the second stage of the Alsace Tour, the young riders of Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè shone brightly. They did an excellent job in leading out the designated sprinter for today’s stage, Lorenzo Conforti, who made a strong sprint comeback, securing a well-deserved fourth place.
Reflecting on the race, the riders from the class of 2004 stated, “It was a tricky and fast race, and we gave it our best. Unfortunately, a fall at the 7-kilometer mark disoriented us a bit, but thankfully none of our team members were involved. Despite the challenges, I tried to maintain my position, which wasn’t easy given the pace in the final stretch. With 700 meters to go, I was in ninth place, but I managed to make a good comeback. I am satisfied with my performance, and we will continue to give our best in the upcoming stages.”
The stage winner of the day was Daniel Skerl of Cycling Team Friuli, while Belgium’s Tijl De Decker of Lotto-Dstny DT retained the overall leader’s jersey.
