GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: OFFICIAL RENEWALS OF ALEX TOLIO AND ALESSANDRO PINARELLO.
Three-year renewal for Alex Tolio and two-year renewal for Alessandro Pinarello, both athletes launched into professionalism by Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè with the youth project.
Confirming two important pieces of the team, Alex Tolio will continue his adventure with the #greenteam jersey for the next three seasons. The rider from Veneto worked hard for his teammates this season and played a key role in Henok Mulubrhan’s success at the Tour du Rwanda, also finishing 8th overall. Some highlights of 2023 included a prestigious 5th place at the Flechè Ardennaise the 4° place at Gp Goriska and Vipava Valley.
Alex Tolio’s statement: “I am happy with the renewal and the trust the team has given me. After breaking the ice last year by racing a part of the season with the under-23s and a part of the season with the pros, this year I have felt significant growth within myself and gained more confidence. I am working diligently and dedicatedly to reach the highest level possible. I would like to express my gratitude to my coach Pino Toni, Johnny Carera, and my family for their support. Furthermore, this renewal provides the stability I need to explore what kind of rider I can become, perhaps embarking on paths I had never even considered before.”
Alessandro Pinarello will also continue the path he started last year with the Under23s, as an important rider in the team’s youth project. The athlete from the 2003 class achieved remarkable results this season, including a 6th place at the Trofeo Piva , a highly significant 3rd place at Palio del Recioto, a 3rd place at G.P. Liberazione, and a 6th place at Trofeo Città di San Vendemiano. These outstanding results were obtained in races where the most promising young talents from the international scene participated.
Pinarello says: “I am happy with the renewal, the team believes in me and is helping me in this path of growth, I always try to give my best in every race and when needed I work for my teammates, a close-knit group has been created and I am proud to be part of this project. I would like to thank the Reverberi family for their trust.”
