GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: FILIPPO MAGLI WINS MUUR CLASSIC GERAARDSBERGEN.
The Italian rider takes victory at the Muur Classic Geraardsbergen in his first year among the profs.
The Muur Classic Geraardsbergen, a race held in Belgium with a length of 177.8 km, sees Italian Filippo Magli, a neo-professional on the #greenteam, as the winner. Magli joined the very large breakaway peloton at the beginning of the race; the group fragmented kilometer after kilometer, leaving three riders to compete for victory. Filippo Magli emerged triumphant at the finish in Geraardsbergen, securing his first career victory.
In his own words, “It was a tough sprint, especially in the last three hundred meters. But I am really happy that I managed to win. The race was full of attacks from the very start, as is often the case in Belgium. Luca Colnaghi, who was with me in the breakaway, along with all my teammates, made sure we were ready. Now we can celebrate—I am truly elated.”
Magli seizes victory on the finish line that was won by Mathieu van der Poel last year, thereby enriching the team’s palmares with the 15th victory of the season for Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè.
