Once again, Martin Marcellusi demonstrates his prowess in the final stage of the Tour du Limousin. It was commendable how he initiated the breakaway of the day, securing a strong position for the GPM jersey. This marks the sixth climbers’ classification victory for the #greenteam this year. Of these, three were achieved by Zoccarato, one by Tarozzi at the Vuelta a San Juan, one by Nieri at the Tour of Qinghai Lake, and the latest by Marcellusi at the Tour du Limousin.
Regarding his achievement, Marcellusi stated, “Returning to races in this manner is a huge morale boost. Despite the challenges of today’s breakaway after the events of yesterday, we managed to hit our mark with the collective effort of my teammates. This jersey holds a special place for me as it marks my first career win of its kind. I extend my gratitude to my teammates for their unwavering support.”
