GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: LINE UP. GRAN PIEMONTE.
7 athletes of the #greenteam will participate in the Italian classic Gran Piemonte, on Thursday, October 5th.
After about 80 km of flat terrain from Borgofranco d’Ivrea, the riders will face a 74 km circuit with climbs and descents where the most courageous may try to break away from the group. After Colleretto Castelnuovo and Faiollo, the first two uphill stretches awaiting the 22 teams in the race, the riders will have to reach Alpette: it will be the toughest climb of the course, with gradients reaching up to 17%. The final 13 km will be divided between descent and flat terrain.
A course suitable for sprinters who will endure the climbs, leaving room for sprinters like Filippo Fiorelli. African continental champion Henok Mulubrhan and captain Alessandro Tonelli will also be at the start. Also in the lineup is the Italian rider Riccardo Lucca. Rounding out the team are Martin Marcellusi, Alessandro Pinarello, and Filippo Magli. Roberto Reverberi and Alessandro Donati will lead the team from the team.
