GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: COPPA AGOSTONI AND GIRO DELL’EMILIA. THE OFFICIAL LINEUPS.

We start again with races in Italy towards Il Lombardia. Thursday, September 28, the Coppa Agostoni, Saturday 30 the Giro dell'Emilia. The chosen riders for the two races.

While part of the team is engaged in Malaysia, races resume in Italy with the first “Stage” of the Trittico Lombardo, the Coppa Agostoni, scheduled for Thursday, September 28th. A route of 195.7km, featuring over 3000m of elevation gain. The first part of the race takes place in the Lissori circuit, while the second half of the race occurs in the second circuit which includes the climbs of Lissori, Colle Brianza, and Lissolo, to be repeated 4 times. The race concludes, as usual, in Lissone.

 

7 riders have been selected, including a stagiaire, the Mexican Edgar Cadena, winner of the Mexican national road championships in the Elite category and second in the time trial. Also at the start is the Tuscan Filippo Magli. Many young riders on the starting grid such as Alessio Martinelli, Alessandro Pinarello, and Alex Tolio.

Completing the lineup are the African continental champion Henok Mulubrhan and Alessandro Santaromita. Directing the team from the team car are Roberto Reverberi and Luca Amoriello.

 

On Saturday, September 30th, the Tour of Emilia (1.Pro) will start from Carpi and conclude, after 204 kilometers and 2,800 meters of elevation gain, on the slopes of San Luca. 17 World Tour teams and 5 professional teams will participate.

 

7 riders chosen with an average age of 22.8 years: in the lineup are Riccardo Lucca and Alessio Martinelli, fresh from the recent Tour de Slovaquie; also present are Alessandro Santaromita, Giulio Pellizzari, and Alex Tolio. Closing the lineup are two stagiaires: Edgar Cadena and Luca Cavallo, the latter raced with the #greenteam at the Giro di Toscana and G.P. di Peccioli.

 

The Coppa Agostoni will be live-streamed on the Eurosport/GCN+ App and on RaiSport TV from 15:00 (Italian time)

 

The live television broadcast of the Giro dell’Emilia will be on Rai2 from 14:00 and on Eurosport 1 from 15:00 (Italian time).
