GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: 5TH HENOK MULUBRHAN IN STAGE 4 OF TOUR DU RWANDA. 150KM BREAKAWAY FOR RICCARDO LUCCA AND FILIPPO MAGLI AT UAE TOUR.

Henok Mulubrhan crosses the finish line in Karongi in fifth position, for him only Top 5 placings in the first 4 stages and one victory. Protagonists at the UAE Tour Riccardo Lucca and Filippo Magli with over 150km of breakaway.

Challenging fourth stage from Musanze to Karongi, 138.5 km. Henok Mulubrhan, winner of yesterday’s stage placed 5th, surprised by an attack on the final descent orchestrated by two Total Energies riders, who caught up with the out-of-classification breakaways. In these first four stages, the African Continental Champion collected only Top 5 placings and one win, as well as also wearing the jersey for one day. Stage to Thomas Bonnet of TotalEnergies who becomes the new overall leader, 2nd Henok Mulubrhan at 20″.

UAE TOUR – 3RD STAGE

 

At the UAE Tour the decisive third stage for the general classification, protagonists Riccardo Lucca and Filippo Magli with an escape undertaken since the start with two other riders, ended after a good 150km, when the main group reabsorbed the leading 4 at the foot of the last climb.

 

With 9km to go the surprise attack by Samuele Zoccarato in an attempt to catch Einer Rubio on the final climb, Rubio will win the stage, Remco Evenepoel becomes the general classification leader.
