GIRO: CARBONI WEARS THE WHITE JERSEY

At Giro d’Italia Giovanni Carboni has presented to Bardiani-CSF a day as absolute protagonists. In stage six, from Cassino to San Giovanni Rotondo (238 km), the 23-years-old Italian rider has placed fifth and, most of all, he has worn the white jersey as best young rider and has rached the second place in the general classification.

Carboni finished the stage with 43” of delay from winner Masnada. In the young rider classification he leads with 28″ on Peters (AG2R) and 38” on Madouas (Groupama-FDJ).
