CONFIRMED THE CALENDAR OF FIRST PART OF THE SEASON
17 EVENTS FOR 79 DAYS OF RACING UNTIL JUNE
Few days before the very first day of competition in Colombia, Bardiani-CSF has completed its calendar for the first part of the season. The greatest satisfaction came in mid-January with the confirmation of the presence at Giro d’Italia, the most important event of the season, followed by the invitations to Milano-Sanremo and Tirreno-Adriatico.
Two days ago another wild card has been added for another classic, Amstel Gold Race. These UCI World Tour races form the most prestigious poker of the first part of the #GreenTeam 2019 calendar.
Two are intercontinental trips, at Tour Colombia and Tour de Langkawi in Malaysia, while in the UCI Europe Tour circuit (excluding Italian races) the races will be five: Vuelta a Andalucia in Spain followed by four appearances in Croatia at Umag Trophy, Porec Trophy, Istrian Spring Trophy and Tour of Croatia.
In Italy the races will be six, all valid for the Ciclismo Cup ranking: February 17 debut at Laigueglia Trophy, then GP of Larciano, Settimana Coppi & Bartali, the newborn Giro di Sicilia, Tour of the Alps and Giro dell’Appennino.
For the second part of the season, from the first of June onwards, Bardiani-CSF has already confirmed all the Italian events and plans to complete the calendar in the coming weeks.
