BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: THE OFFICIAL LINE-UP FOR MILANO-SANREMO.

On Saturday 20 March Bardiani CSF Faizanè will be at the start of the first of the 5 monuments of international cycling. The 7 riders who will face the Milano-Sanremo are now official. On Sunday then a double appointment for the team with Per Sempre Alfredo and GP Slovenian Istria.

Everything is ready for the first Monument of the season, the Milano-Sanremo which in 2021 returns to its original location during spring. 299km from Milan to Sanremo, fully broadcasted live by Rai (Raisport & Rai2), starting from 9.00 am, to facilitate the many fans who will not be able to follow it on the streets. Bardiani CSF Faizanè will be at the start with 7 of the riders who appeared in the best condition in this first part of March. Team manager Roberto Reverberi and Sports Director Mirko Rossato, who will be in the teamcar following the riders, have selected the 7 athletes with the aim of being protagonists.

These are the words of Roberto Reveberi: “Being at the start of the Milano-Sanremo is always an emotion. This year, to be in the breakaway will not be our only goal, we have riders able to try to be protagonists even in the salient stages of the race, even though we are aware that the level will be very high, if we have the opportunity we will try to invent something.”

In fact, the two experienced team leaders, Giovanni Visconti and Enrico Battaglin, will be at the start of the spring classic. With them two young talents fresh from victories, both reached in this month of March, such as Filippo Fiorelli and Filippo Zana. With them Daniel Savini, winner of the KOM jersey at the Istrian Trophy, Umberto Marengo and Alessandro Tonelli, who last year was the protagonist on the breakaway at the Milan-Sanremo in the summer edition.
