BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: GOOD SECOND PLACE OF FILIPPO ZANA IN THE TOUR DE L’AVENIR.

Filippo Zana, competing with the Italian national Under 23 selection at the Tour de L'Avenir, after a good 5th place yesterday, today conquers a prestigious second stage place behind the Norwegian Tobias Halland and further climbs the general classification keeping open the chances of victory.

Filippo Zana 2nd stage of the Tour de l’Avenir behind the Norwegian Tobias Halland. The rider born in 1999 of Bardiani CSF Faizanè is in fact competing with the national team in the prestigious race that sees the Under23 athletes among the strongest in the world competing. After fifth place in yesterday’s stage which had already allowed him to move up in the overall standings, with today’s placement of honor Filippo Zana makes up further ground in the general classification.

Regular race with a flat first part that led to the final and decisive climb on which Filippo Zana offs all his opponents, unable to keep the wheels only of Tobias Halland, the Norwegian who after today stage is also the new leader of the general classification.

These are the words of Filippo Zana after today’s stage: “I am happy to have gained a little on several rivals despite not having been able to keep Halland’s wheels. We were waiting for the climbs and these hardest stages to come back in the general classification and we will continue to try again in the next few days to try to put the Norwegian athlete in difficulty. “

Two podiums in Tour de L’Avenir previous stages reached also by Luca Colnaghi, another young rider and future teammate of Filippo Zana. Luca Colnaghi will join Bardiani CSF Faizanè starting from the 2022 season.
