BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: FROM THIS THURSDAY READY TO RIDE THE GRAN CAMINO.
From 24 to 27 February 7 riders from Bardiani CSF Faizanè will be at the start of the Gran Camino, a Spanish competition that will see some World Tour teams and numerous professional teams at the start.
While part of the team is in the midst of the UAE Tour, 7 other riders are preparing to face the 4 days of Spanish race Gran Camino. The race inspired by the Camino de Santiago de Compostela takes place in Galicia over 4 days of ride, 3 road race and a final time trial, from next Thursday 24 February, to end on Sunday 27.
Leading the team in the flagship will be the duo of DS Luca Amoriello and Mirko Rossato, who have selected 7 athletes suitable to face the different stages in the program. At the start there will be Giovanni Visconti, experienced leader of the team, flanked by two athletes launched and raised in the #Greenteam in recent years: Filippo Zana and Filippo Fiorelli, who with different characteristics will be able to try to be protagonists in the competition. With them will be Davide Gabburo and the trio of young neo-pros, respectively born in 1999, 2000 and 2001, composed of Omar El Gouzi, Alex Tolio and Alessio Nieri to create, as always, a line-up that reflects a mix of experience and youth.
The stages will be broadcast live on Eurosport and Eurosport Player.
