BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: FROM THE 20TH OF JANUARY THE SPANISH TRAINING CAMP.
From 20 January to 3 February the Bardiani CSF Faizanè team will be training on the Spanish roads of Benindorm. 10 riders will participate to the training camp, including Giovanni Visconti and Enrico Battaglin. For some of them it will also be the opportunity to make their seasonal debut at the Clasica Comunitat Valenciana on January 24th.
While part of the team is already racing on the roads of Venezuela where the Vuelta al Tachira is taking place these days, 10 riders of the Bardiani CSF Faizanè this Wednesday 20 January will fly to Valencia for the first training camp of the new season. At the training camp many new riders of the team will participate, such as Giovanni Visconti, Enrico Battaglin, Davide Gabburo, Andrea Garosio, Umberto Marengo and the new professional Samuele Zoccarato. With them also important confirmations from the previous season, such as Alessandro Tonelli, Daniel Savini, Filippo Fiorelli and Filippo Zana.
Finally, the young promising Valencian sprinter Iker Bonillo Martin will join the team in some training sessions, followed by Stefano Garzelli and his Style & Sport Agency.
All the riders and all the staff have been subjected to covid swabs, with negative results, and will form a “team bubble” as in the competitions.
A second group of riders will then leave for a second training camp linked to other competitions to limit contacts and keep separate groups thus reducing the chances of contagion.
THE RACE.
For some of these riders there will also be an opportunity for the seasonal debut at the Clasica la Comunitat Valenciana, which will take place on Sunday 24 January. The definitive line-up for this appointment will be made official in the coming days.
