BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: FIRST RACE, FIRST PODIUM.
First race, first stage, first podium of the season for the Bardiani CSF Faizanè team, thanks to the third place of Nicolas Dalla Valle on the finish-line of El Vigia in Venezuela. 8th place also for Giovanni Lonardi.
Good seasonal start for Bardiani CSF Faizanè which conquers the first podium in the very first occasion of this season. Nicolas Dalla Valle comes third in the sprint of El Vigia in Venezuela, at the end of the first of eight stages of the Vuelta al Tachira.
Race characterized by a breakaway of two athletes, controlled by the Androni Sidermec team and the #GreenTeam to lead to a sprint finish. 131 km rode from Lobatera to El Vigia. On the final part of the race the riders move for the first sprint of the season where the cyclamen jerseys take the first podium (3rd Nicolas Dalla Valle) and the first top 10 (8th Giovanni Lonardi) of the new season.
Tomorrow the second portion of 113 km with departure and arrival from Merida.
