BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: BATTAGLIN IS BACK.

Enrico Battaglin will return to wear the jersey of Bardiani CSF Faizanè from the 2021 season. A great comeback, at the age of 30 at the height of his competitive growth, with the double role of winner and leader for the many young riders present in the team, bringing great international experience.

Battaglin is back. Launched and raised in team of the Reverberi family, Enrico Battaglin will return to wear the jersey of Bardiani CSF Faizanè for the 2021 season. A return that will bring to the team great international experience and an athlete who at 30 years old wants to make his mark on the team that has allowed the big jump. Not only victories, but also an important role as a leader for the many young people present in the team, made up mainly of young Italian riders and with an average age of 24 years old.

THE DECLARATIONS.

Bruno Reverberi shows great confidence in Enrico Battaglin’s talents: “Enrico is a boy with incredible talents, who could have won 5 or 6 races every year, but who is still in time to start doing it. He is a rider capable of holding on even on challenging courses as he demonstrated with us in Oropa, but with a very important fast start. Sometimes he lacked the right determination, while many other times, finding himself in big teams, he could not play a leading role in races suitable for his skills. He comes back to our team at the age of 30 with very important experience, if he gives us the right determination, he will find the right space in our team to achieve the consistency of results he deserves.”

Enrico Battaglin: “I grew up in this team, and then I jumped in the World Tour in 2015. I’m happy with the 5 years of experience in high-level teams, an experience that I can now bring to the Bardiani CSF Faizanè team by helping the many young riders in the team, teaching them how to face some races, how other teams in the race think and support them in their growth, because often talent, without the right suggestions can be wasted. From a personal point of view, my motivation to return to the team that launched me, is also to be able to have a leading role in the races in which I have the ambition to do well. From all RCS Sport races to, hoping for an invitation, the Amstel Gold Race. For this I really want to thanks Bruno and Roberto Reverberi for welcoming me back into their team and my agent Moreno Nicoletti for facilitating this deal. I am sure that together in 2021 we will take a lot of satisfaction.”

THE RIDER.

Enrico Battaglin, was born in Marostica on 17 November 1989, he began his career among professionals as an intern of the Colnago – CSF team, led by the Reverberi family, in 2011 passing professional in 2012 and remaining 4 years, full of satisfactions, with the team. The victory at the Coppa Sabatini in 2011 and the stage victories at the Giro d’Italia 2013 and 2014 with the Bardiani – CSF jersey, together with the prestigious placings including a second and third stage place again at the Giro d’Italia, gave him the chance to pass in World Tour teams.
