BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: BACK TO RACES IN ITALY AND FRANCE, WITH GIRO DELL’EMILIA AND TOUR DE LIMOUSIN.

In the week leading up to the tricolor, a double appointment for the Bardiani CSF Faizanè team. The Giro dell’Emilia takes place on Tuesday 18 August, while the Tour du Limousin kicks off in France, a 4-stage race that will end on Friday the same day of the Italian Championship time trial.

GIRO DELL’EMILIA.

The Giro dell’Emilia will start on Tuesday 18 August. New date, but also the number of participating teams, with 29 teams at the start with only 6 athletes, to respect the maximum numbers in the group imposed by the UCI. Also new is the starting point, which represents a pleasant return to the past, starting in Casalecchio di Reno.

For the Bardiani CSF Faizanè there will therefore be 6 riders at the start, four of which returning from “Il Lombardia” over the weekend, to which have been added Alessandro Monaco and Umberto Orsini

Line-up:

Giovanni Carboni (1995) – All-rounder

Luca Covili (1997) – Climber

Alessandro Monaco (1998) – Climber

Umberto Orsini (1994) – Rouleur

Francesco Romano (1997) – Climber

TOUR DU LIMOUSIN.

There will be 7 riders from Bardiani CSF Faizanè at the start of the Tour du Limousin. Five World Tour formations at the start of the transalpine race and 12 Professional teams for an excellent starting list. The Tour will develop on 4 stages. The first, the longest, can begin to define the general classification with a finish on a stretch. The second stage seems to be destined for fast wheels while the third stage is open to different scenarios. The fourth and final stage with arrival in Limoges will again be destined for the sprinters.

The team will be led by the teamcars by the pair of sporting directors formed by Mirko Rossato and Alessandro Donati. Giovanni Lonardi and Vincenzo Albanese the fastest riders, depending on the type of finish. With them Iuri Filosi, Filippo Fiorelli, Daniel Savini and Fabio Mazzucco ready to take advantage of opportunities in the most unpredictable arrivals and enter the leaks, as well as the breakaway specialist Alessandro Tonelli who completes the line-up.
