THE CLIMBS OF TOUR OF THE ALPS ARE COMING
FROM APRIL 22 TO 26, THE RACE WILL BE A DECISIVE MOMENT FOR THE APPROACH TO THE GIRO D’ITALIA
The road that will lead Bardiani-CSF to the key event of its season, Giro d’Italia, will pass as usual through the mountains of the Tour of the Alps. The climbs of Tirol and Trentino will be the main course of the last stages race of the #GreenTeam before the Corsa Rosa, with a program that includes five stages (from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th), 13,600 meters in elevation gain, 10 categorized climbs and a total distance of 711 km.
The #GreenTeam will be at the start with seven riders, led by team directors Roberto Reverberi and Mirko Rossato: Giovanni Carboni, Luca Covili, Umberto Orsini, Francesco Romano, Daniel Savini, Manuel Senni and Luca Wackermann.
The news reached few hours ago about the cancellation of Tour of Croatia, which should have been raced in the same week of Tour of the Alps, makes this one a key test for Bardiani-CSF together with Amstel Gold Race, scheduled for Sunday, and Giro dell’Appennino scheduled on the 28th.
